Woodbridge is a charming market town on the banks of the River Deben. It's attractive waterfront is a hive of activity with a busy dock area full of colourful boats and barges watched over by the town's tide mill; one of the last remaining working tide mills in the country. The town is popular with sailors and has a marina just behind the Tide Mill. From here it is possible to follow the Deben along the river wall as far as Melton in one direction and Martlesham in the other.
